At Techinline we’re passionate about constantly improving our software in an effort to help you deliver the highest level of service to your customers, and today we’re excited to announce the rollout of a new FixMe.IT version 4.2!
The latest update of our remote desktop tool features a brand new responsive user interface of the Expert application, several useful additions to the unattended client tab, along with some other goodies and bug fixes. Now let’s get a closer look at what’s new.
Improved Expert GUI
FixMe.IT version 4.2 brings a responsive design to Expert users – you can now adjust various interface elements according to your own convenience and preference.
Apart from that, we’ve fixed the current active field in the Expert app so that it won’t lose focus whether you toggle between multiple windows on your desktop.
Fixed Remote Control Screen
We’ve also fixed the issue that occurred when connecting to remote tablets that are configured to portrait mode portrait. This means that you will now be displayed the client’s actual desktop rather than a black and blue screen.
Enhanced Unattended Client Access
You can now connect to unattended computers even faster than before, as we have further reduced the time needed for starting a session. You won’t see it, but you’ll feel it.
We’ve also added a footer to the Unattended Clients list that shows you the number of machines on your list along with the time of the latest refresh.
Furthermore, you can now view additional details about the unattended computer such as current user activity (whether the machine is in use or not), desktop mode (Windows Logon or User Desktop), and duration of current online/offline status.
We’re truly excited to get these new features into your hands, and are working hard on further enhancements to deliver the best possible user experience. Got questions about the new version? Leave us a comment below or contact our team directly!
