File transfer is one of the most important features to be found in a remote support tool. It allows you to instantly exchange files or folders with the remote user or access your own files from anywhere, and thus spares you the trouble of using any third-party tools.
With FixMe.IT, remote file transfer becomes a breeze. You don’t need to set anything up or read any complex manuals. It works exactly the same way as it does on your local desktop.
Here are three easy ways to transfer files remotely with FixMe.IT:
Drag-and-drop
Drag-and-drop is the most convenient method of transferring any files to or from a remote computer. Simply drag the files or folders from your local computer to the remote desktop window or vice versa, and it’s done.
Besides that, FixMe.IT allows you to drag and drop files between remote desktop windows when working with multiple remote users at the same time.
Copy-paste
You can also transfer files or folders by copying them to clipboard and pasting them on another computer. Same as drag-and-drop, it works the same way as on your local machine.
Send File button
FixMe.IT also allows you to transfer a file from your local desktop to a remote user via the “Send File” button available in the Expert app’s interface. This way you can send files without the need to establish a remote connection. Note, however, that this option allows you to transfer only one file at a time.
