FixMe.IT provides you with an easy way to setup remote access on any remote computer or server. Besides that, it allows you to maintain a shared unattended client list across multiple logins on your account.
But what if you need to connect to your personal unattended workstation or other remote machines without anyone else gaining access to them, while still having a shared list with your co-workers?
By default, FixMe.IT doesn’t provide such capability. However, there’s a simple workaround that allows you to keep certain remote computers in a “private” list.
Here’s how this can be done:
- First, configure all unattended machines that you wish to keep “private” under your own login.
- Let other team members do the same if they have certain unattended computers that they don’t want to include in the shared list.
- Create an additional sub-login for your account by contacting our support team.
- Create a list of shared unattended connections under the new, shared sub-login.
This way the entire team will be able to access unattended machines from the shared sub-login.
