We always listen to your feedback, as it helps us further improve FixMe.IT to provide you and your clients with the best remote support experience possible.
Today, we’re excited to introduce FixMe.IT version 4.5.1, which offers a much faster, easier remote connection process on both ends.
From now on, the remote user will no longer need to respond to an “Accept” prompt at the start of each session. Instead, you will now be automatically connected to the remote computer after entering the Client ID and clicking “Connect”.
Regardless of the fact that we have removed the obsolete “Accept” prompt, the remote user still retains full control of the entire connection process.
Here’s what they’ll see as they follow the instructions:
We expect that this change will help streamline the connection process and improve overall user experience, while keeping all existing transparency and privacy safeguards in place.
Another good news is that we’ve recently merged our knowledge base, FAQs and online documentation into a single, newly designed FixMe.IT Support Center.
Here you can find step-by-step feature guides along with the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions, get help when having issues with the app’s performance, view video tutorials, and more.
Please let us know if you don’t see an answer to your question – any feedback or suggestions are most welcome!
