The Techinline team is thrilled to announce the release of a new major Techinline version 4.0! The centerpiece of this release is the highly anticipated multi-session feature, but there are a number of other key enhancements as well! The new version comes at no extra cost and all existing Techinline users will be upgraded automatically. Here’s what to look for in Techinline’s latest update:
1. Multi-session handling: You are now able to support an unlimited number of Client machines simultaneously using your subscription license. Easily manage and switch between the multiple support sessions directly from your Expert interface. 2. Improved Screen Capturing and Compression: We have improved Techinline’s performance, especially when it comes to working with multi-core CPU systems. These improvements should result in better response-time when supporting such machines.
3. Accelerated Connection Process: We have fine-tuned Techinline’s connection process and reduced the time it takes the client to obtain a Client ID number.
4. Modified Application Update Process: We have modified Techinline’s update process to reflect Microsoft’s recent changes to the Windows Installer (for more details please see our recent blog post). These changes will ensure a more reliable and error-free software update process.
5. Increased Reliability Within RDP Environment: We have adapted Techinline’s performance for Client machines running within a Microsoft RDP session.
6. Optimized Performance for Windows 8 User Account Control: We have adjusted Techinline’s performance for handling User Account Control components on Windows 8 OS.
7. Other Minor Improvements: Minor bug fixes related to resource usage (memory leaks) and working with Windows Security Desktops.
