We received numerous reports today about Techinline’s domain (fixme.it) currently being inaccessible.
(Updated at 12:30 PM EST, December 9th: this issue appears to be almost entirely resolved. Current DNS propogation status can be found on the following page: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/fixme.it)
We contacted our DNS provider (GoDaddy) and found that they experienced an issue earlier today that resulted in some domains (fixme.it being amongst them) being unresolvable by certain ISPs.
Our DNS provider has already applied a fix which is currently in the process of being propagated worldwide. The problem will be permanently resolved as soon as the fix is propagated. Unfortunately, this process is out of Techinline’s control and may take some time to complete (possibly several hours).
If you’ve encountered this problem, as a temporary work-around we recommend that you configure your network settings to use Google Public DNS 8.8.8.8 . This will ensure that our application is loaded successfully. The instructions for configuring Google Public DNS are provided in the following article: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
We apologize for any disruption and temporary inconvenience caused. Please do not hesitate to contact us in case you need any further assistance or information.
