More good news from Techinline’s “Development Front” – we have released yet another upgrade over the past weekend which includes the ability to send a Ctrl-Alt-Del command. This feature is available on all Operating Systems supported by Techinline and can be executed in the following two ways:
Method #1: Use a Ctrl-Alt-End combination
Method #2: use the Ctrl-Alt-Del button on Techinline’s Expert toolbar while working in Remote Control mode.
The Ctrl-Alt-Del command, also known as the “three-finger solute”, can be used to initiate a reboot operation as well as launch Task Manager to view CPU & memory usage, Switch and Log ON/Off Users, and start new programs.
What else to look for in 2.5.1
We’ve also implemented a couple other minor bug fixes:
-Minor and rare problem which previously effected rebooting of the remote computer. As a result, the Auto Reboot operation is now more reliable and stable.
-Minor issue with canceling a Drag & Drop operation. This problem occurred following a Windows Log Off/Log On operation.
We sincerely hope that you will find this release to be useful and urge Techinline users to contact us with any feedback or questions about the new functionality or described bug fixes.
